North County Food Bank
Board of Directors
The North County Food Bank Board is a volunteer working board. Because we do not have employees, our board members work to manage various aspects of our operations.
Jeannette Woodull, President and Volunteer Coordinator
Jeannette worked for 25 years as a Project Controller/Project Assistant for consulting engineering companies (David Evans and Associates, HDR Engineering, Kennedy Jenks) and for TriMet in Portland, OR. She also worked for Washington County Capital Projects. The last major project Jeannette worked on was the stunning Tillikum Crossing bridge in Portland.
Cynthia Speckman, Vice-President and Outreach Coordinator
Cynthia has spent her career in the helping professions as a social worker, conflict coach and international humanitarian. After decades of domestic and international non-profit leadership - focusing on changing systems and scaling leadership teams - working with children and families and then international disaster response and preparedness throughout the South Pacific, she has settled on the coast. Cynthia teaches graduate-level interpersonal communication and conflict for Missouri State University. She has served on the board for three years, and she has worked to organize the local Little Free Pantries since 2020..
Holly Smith, Secretary
Holly is a retired marriage and family therapist and yoga teacher. Holly has lived in Manzanita since 2000.
Jenny Greenleaf, Treasurer and Communications Coordinator
Jenny retired to Manzanita in 2015 following a career in the tech industry. She’s served on non-profit boards since the 1990s, including the Neighborhood Health Clinic, the Computer-Human Interaction Forum of Oregon, the Democratic Party of Oregon, the Oregon Commission for Women, and CARTM.
Mark Reny, Purchasing Coordinator
Mark is a longtime Nehalem resident who has volunteered at the Food Bank for over six years. Mark develops relationships with local vendors to ensure that we have the food we need every single week.
Don Taylor
Don started his career managing two small businesses. He worked as a technician and process engineer for about 20 years, finishing his career working for the College of Western Idaho as a teacher in adult basic education.
Randy Schultz
Randy is a retired educator. He spent half his career in K-12 education and half at the university level. Randy says, “I believe every person should have access to quality and nutritious food no matter what their circumstances are.” Randy has been volunteering for food distribution programs for the past 25 years. He also serves on the Neah-Kah-Nie School District Board.
Sue Wilson
Sue is a former mayor of Rockaway Beach, Oregon, where she owns a small business.
