Helping families in need in North Tillamook County through food and clothing assistance, as well as informational access to community support partnerships.
Please come to local artist Helen Hill’s art show at Nehalem Bay Recreation District. All proceeds will be split between the North County Food Bank and the Oregon Food Bank.
Food Distribution at our new location. We are all moved in across the parking lot and ready for distribution day at the new location (the former Nehalem Bay Clinic and Pharmacy at 230 Rowe St in Wheeler) on Tuesday 10/21, noon till 3:00. You'll use the same parking lot as our former location.
This move has happened seamlessly and with no disruption to distribution thanks to a generous, problem-solving, creative community.
Our deepest gratitude to the community: donors, clients, volunteers, agency partners including Nehalem Bay Community Services, Coastal Junkers, and especially Nehalem Bay Health District (NBHD)
The NBHD has provided the NCFB with a home for 33+ years. And in this interim period they have once again shown themselves as a committed partner regarding food security for our region.
We are honored to serve the community and look forward to seeing customers and volunteers at the new streamlined location.
We will have a learning curve, so please be patient with us! Allow a bit of extra time as we learn how best to serve you.
Due to space constraints, there is no clothing bank at our new location. (And the old location is closed)
Food distribution to continue at current location until October 21. Starting on October 21st, we will distribute food from our temporary location at 230 Rowe St., across the parking lot from the current food bank.
Nehalem Bay Health District provides temporary location for North County Food Bank. Nehalem Bay Health District and North County Food Bank reached an agreement for the food bank to move into the current Nehalem Bay Health Center and Pharmacy temporarily. The Food Bank appreciates all the people who came together to make this move possible: the Health District, Nehalem Bay Community Services, and concerned community members. We are going to do our best to continue service without disruption during the move. Read more.
